*

Y0U CANNOT HAVE A TAN (AT ALL) ON YOUR FACE AT TIME OF APPOINTMENT OR YOU WILL BE RESCHEDULED.  HAT AND GLASSES ARE NOT SUFFICIENT.

PIGMENTS WILL HEAL DARKER IN TAN SKIN. TAN SKIN BLEEDS THEREFORE PIGMENT WILL NOT TAKE AND WILL LOOK BLURRED. EVEN AFTER THEY ARE HEALED, SUN EXPOSURE WILL CAUSE THE TATTOO TO DARKEN AS YOUR SKIN DARKENS AND THIS CANNOT BE LIGHTENED EVER. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO KEEP OUT OF THE SUN.

*

DO NOT TWEEZE, WAX OR THREAD FOR 7 DAYS PRIOR. YOU MAY RESUME AFTER 2 WEEKS.

We will groom them at time of appointment.

*

IF YOU SHOW UP TO YOUR APPOINTMENT AND ARE CANCELED DUE TO BEING TOO TAN (to Mary's standard), YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY THE FEE FOR THAT DAY AND ANOTHER BOOKING FEE FOR THE NEW APPOINTMENT. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO STAY OUT OF THE SUN 30 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT AND 30 DAYS AFTER. Plan Accordingly NO EXCEPTIONS

Must wait 4 months after delivery &/OR 4 months after nursing before you can have the procedure done.

(No Exceptions)

*

Botox should be performed 2-3 weeks before or2- 3 weeks after the procedure.

*

No chemical peels or lasers 60 days prior and must wait 60 days after

(avoiding the forehead is recommended).

IF YOU DO FREQUENT PEELS AND LASERS THE BROWS WILL FADE QUICKER DUE TO THE CHEMICALS TRAVELING UNDER THE SKIN. THIS WILL HAPPEN

*

Retinols/Retin-A's, Any Acid containing products, other anti-aging creams or serums containing acids WILL fade your permanent makeup prematurely EVEN AFTER IT IS HEALED. This includes OTC products as well.

You must be OFF all Retinols/Retina-A, Acid containing products 30 days prior to appt. and for at least 30 days or more after the appt. The area will bleed and pigment will not heal properly if this is not followed. If you resume the retinols, after the 30+ days after your procedure, your brows WILL fade quickly due to the chemicals in the creams. They WILL blur and fade faster.

Your appt. will not be moved any sooner.

*

If you bleach your eyebrows, it is recommended not to have this procedure done.

The chemicals WILL bleach the hair & the pigment as well.

*

If you are knowingly under the influence of drugs or any mood altering drugs/medications

YOU WILL BE CANCELED AND RESCHEDULED forfeiting your booking fee.

*

If you have ever had Ocular Herpes, it is recommended to not have any type of Permanent Makeup on your face as the procedure can exacerbate a flare-up

*

NO LASH or BROW GROWTH SERUMS AT ALL!

MUST DISCONTINUE USE 60 DAYS PRIOR AND IT NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE ON THE BROWS AT ALL AFTERWARDS

*

If there are any blemishes, pimples, active cold sores, irritation of the skin of any kind,

moles, bruises or other skin imperfections IN or AROUND the area of the procedure, Mary WILL NOT be able to do the procedure until the blemish or areas of concern are completely healed or the mole is removed and healed. If you run your finger through your brows and there is a bump, it is best to reschedule.  There can not be any blemishes within a fingers width of the brow.  As we wipe pigment, it can get into the irritated area and stain the skin. There is no way to avoid that.

Mary WILL NOT do the procedure.

*

MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO AREAS OF CONCERN WITHIN A FINGERS WIDTH OF YOUR BROWS.

(ACTIVE PIMPLES, IRRITATION AND THE-LIKE)

General Rules for ALL Procedures

EXERCISE (ADDENDUM REQUIRED)

If you work out regularly (3-7 days a week), your eyebrows WILL fade very fast due to the production of salt/sweat. Salt is used to remove permanent makeup. Appointments will not be moved earlier if you have premature fading due to lifestyle. They WILL appear more powdered or blurred under the skin as well. If you are not ok with this, then you should not have the procedure done. Mary reserves the right to refuse future services if she feels the results wont be to the clients satisfaction.

TAN (ADDENDUM REQUIRED)

YOU CANNOT HAVE A TAN 30 DAYS BEFORE & ABSOLUTELY NO SUN 30 DAYS AFTER (This means you cannot go out in sun with a hat and glasses on) this means no direct SUN FOR 30+ days AFTER. This goes for tanning beds too.  If you resume tanning, the results can or will fade quickly or could heal darker, or not retain at all. Mary won't be able to see you any sooner than your routine scheduled appt. If you ruin the results by tanning too soon, Mary may not be able to work on you in the future.

MARY WILL CANCEL YOUR APPT. IF YOU SHOW UP WITH A TAN (A tan to Mary's standards). Tan skin is pretty, but it is damaged tissue.

TAN SKIN BLEEDS, HEALS POORLY AND COLORS WILL NOT HEAL PROPERLY.

NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please Read

ALL PERMANENT MAKEUP/MICROBLADING PROCEDURES REQUIRE 2 APPOINTMENTS AND ANNUAL COLOR BOOSTS

There is NO GUARANTEE'S made as to the final outcome. Your skin, lifestyle and after care play a huge roll in YOUR results. EVERYONE heals differently. Not everyone is a candidate for permanent makeup. There may be other contraindications not listed and your appt. may be canceled. This is left up to Mary's discretion and she will be totally honest with you.

Some residual swelling is normal for ALL procedures. Most swelling occurs on day 1-3. A needle was placed in your skin, there WILL be swelling, how much is individualized. Some clients may have minimal swelling, some may more.

The area may appear uneven, dry, itchy, tender, red & irritated, flake or scab unevenly. The areas may appear very light under the areas of peeling or flaking.

They pigment will oxidize and become a little darker as the healing continues over the 30 days. This is all 100% normal. DO NOT PICK. If you pick, you can cause scarring.  Your brows will change a-lot over the 30 days.  The brows will also appear larger due to swelling and then begin to shrink as the healing process progresses.

The results vary person to person and some clients may heal quicker than others or could take longer. You need to be patient and let the procedure have adequate healing over the course of 30+ days.  TRUST THE PROCESS!

Color WILL fade/soften anywhere from 10%-50% or more after the 1st. session.   At the required touch up we will do all the fine tuning if needed.   Even then, there is no guarantee that the pigment will heal better. Healing is specific to each client. It is important to realize that you will need a color boost every 2+ yrs to maintain it's fresh natural appearance. Fading WILL happen after each procedure. We do not have control over your bodies healing process or skin. You may need still to powder and/or pencil even after the healed results. This is an enhancement to your natural brows....not a permanent one.

At some point, there's a chance that your brows can no longer be done. Each time a procedure is performed, scar tissue is made, that can cause retention to be less and less each time it is done. This is universal in all permanent makeup procedures. This is a fact. Due to the build up of underlying scar tissue. We have had clients that have had 1-5 sessions and some that have had over 10 sessions over the years.  The technician can determine this when she is working in the skin and how the results heal.

Touch ups will not be done any sooner than the recommended time frame. NO EXCEPTIONS!

If you are out in the sun a lot, have oily skin, use anti-aging creams, RetinA/retinol products, acidic cleansers, natural elements, regular chemical peels, or exercise frequently, your permanent makeup WILL fade prematurely.  This WILL happen.

The better you take care of the treated area and follow the provided aftercare, the longer it will last.

Permanent Makeup is an art, NOT a science. Clients results will vary and using a pencil or powder will/may still be needed. We have no control over your bodies healing process and each time a procedure is done, the pigment may have less retention due to scar tissue.

As we age our skin changes. The permanent makeup WILL eventually look more powdered, this is universal with all permanent makeup procedures.  If this begins to happen, you can opt for removal or let them fade away naturally.  So that the next session will look fresh and new.

Remember, no two sides of the face are the same. Perfection is our goal, but, note that nothing is PERFECT.

We do not use the "P" word when doing Permanent Makeup.

Sisters, NOT twins is used universally in this field.

AFTERCARE PROCESS

You will be provided with an aftercare cream at the 1st session.  This tube is plenty for your 1st & 2nd session.

Do not discard, store in a cool place.

Apply the cream a.m. & p.m. for 2 weeks.  Just a thin thin layer to protect and hydrate the brows.  You should not see it.

The only time you will be cleaning your brows is in between applications of the cream.

  • Take gauze or the-like, get it wet and wring it out to where it is just damp.

  • Gently wipe up and back a couple times then pat dry

  • Apply the cream with a q-tip in a very thin layer

  • You can wash your face, avoiding the eyebrows with a makeup wipe or wash cloth

  • Showering: DO NOT get them directly wet.......Back into the shower so that the shower head is behind you, have a towel handy should some dripping occur & pat dry

  • If they flake or scab...DO NO PICK

  • If it is needed, you can pencil after 2 weeks if there are areas that have faded more than others. NO SOONER!

SEE YOU AT THE TOUCH-UP IN 6-8 WEEKS!!!!
